Perfect for cost and abilitry
This is an awesome receiver for the beginner audiophile. Loud enough with the proper speakers, and can handle many devices at the same time. ARC isn't great, and the remote is a necessity, but with a little research one can find all the appropriate cables and setups needed to have a smooth entertainment experience.
Please purchase the remote with the device. Universals, so far, have not been able to acess all of the features and it is quite frustrating to get up and down just to change something as simple as the inputs. Also, big downfall, it doesn't have an adapter to switch from composite or component to HDMI. In other words, you need multiple cables running from Receiver to TV. not a big deal, but if you do not have said cables it can be frustrating.
