Best sleeves there are
Outstanding product, I got just one 50 pack for my most used records, ended up ordering many more for ALL of them. Buy it, you will not regret it!

Power, luxury and reliability problems
10 of 11 found this helpful Bought it used (convertible). Had a shot at a new 2007 XKR, but chose this beauty instead (money was an important factor).
Looks.
Absolutely stunning. Curves are as sexy as they can be without being XXX rated as in Aston Martins. I saw it parked next to an 07 XKR and this one is timeless (never liked that Ford Taurus nose on the 07 anyway!) Looks like it is in motion even when it is parked. Amazing.
Performance.
Supercharged 4.2 V8 is powerful and almost silent, except on high RPMs - that is when the supercharger kicks in, which feels great. If you happened to gently touch acceleration pedal when the light turns green - you will feel a half a second delay (why?), then an angry roar and next thing you realize is that you two traffic lights ahead of other cars and your RPMs didn't even reach 2500! Once I forgot that I had a Starbucks Venti in cup holder and floored acceleration. The coffee just flew straight back and was flowing down rear seats back support. There was not a drop on either front or back seats. I mean the coffee flew horizontally - that is how fast it accelerated! The exhaust sound is right, not too loud. I heard that 07 exhaust is a lot louder, but this is an affluent car, not some adolescent Mustang GT! When you turn it off, engine shuts down, but supercharges and fans still keep working for about 6 seconds, even though there is no key in ignition. Feels nothing short of disengaging a starship Enterprise. Now I know what Mr. Shatner drives!
Transmission shifts are effortless, although it takes 3/4 of a second to start moving. Ain’t no Ferrari! The S button is as useful as snooze button on a smoke alarm. Why would you drive like a Civic?
Handling isn't bad for its weight (heavier than 07, though!) True, this cat does not feel on tight corners like other Jags anymore, but does not take your breath away like a Ferrari or a Porsche either. It is adequate, that is all. The fact that this car is low helps handling too.
Comfort.
The interior is all luxury leather and expensive wood. Does not feel as cheap as in 07, which is simply appalling. It is a top of the line Jag - and you will sense it. The first thing you notice is that back seats are useless, unless you happened to drive an amputee or a small pet. What is the point? It is an overweight car - loose the back seats! Secondly, you have to assume an impossible pose or you will not be able to get in with the top up. After you put you right foot inside you have to lean backwards so your back takes almost a horizontal position. I understand this car is low, but there are ways around this. Once you are in, things are a little easier. Unless you are very tall person, that is. The only way I can see this work is with the top down. So, if you are a very tall individual, this XKR is not for you (unless you enjoy snow, rain and hail in your face at 85 miles an hour!)
Another small issue are those cup holders. Try fitting a Venti in. The top of the cup will be right next to your mouth without even having to reach for it. You also will have to support the cups on tight corners to avoid periodically taking hot showers (the worst kind).
Reliability.
If you want reliability - don't walk away from Jaguars. Run. Run as fast as you can! This Jag is no exception. However, if you put aside as much emergency funds as you already spent at the dealer - you are in great shape!
Making a long story short - XKR is not for everybody. It is for XKR fans only.
