MSI Interceptor DS B1 GAMING MOUSE USB Optical 1600 DPI Switch, Side Buttons Blk

Excellent "above-casual" tier gaming mouse

I went with this MSI model because I have their H87 Fatal1ty mobo and have had experience with the brand and their products. I found this mouse to be comfortable, responsive and stylish. I have large hands but use the claw grip, and the DS B1's shape is highly ergonomic for me. I like to rest my thumb on the side to feel the mousepad and have better control, so the other mouse units out there with a thumb-rest platform do not appeal to me. The adjustable weights are great, I kept them all in as they were. The main L/R clicks are a comfortable pressure to activate, thumb buttons a bit "pillowy" but not a big deal for my level of gaming. The scroll wheel rotation and click sensitivity is the best I have had on a mouse yet, for the infrequent times that I use it. On the cons side, some parts of the mouse will be tricky to clean due to it's design shape (eg thumb-grip holes) but this can be alleviated by having clean hands. I play MOBA, ARPG and now Overwatch and am very happy with this purchase. For the price I think it is an excellent buy for above-casual gamers, I would buy the same model if this one broke after warranty. My setup includes i5 4560, GTX 760 and a 2x Dell U2414H 24" IPS monitors.
