OK, You get what you pay for
I tried it on my car, a sub-compact Kia Forte, and it works, but it's very hard to turn the crank because the handle is so short. However, it fits easily in the trunk, and I shouldn't have to use it much, so it's ok, but I probably should have bought something bigger.

Works Great
Instead of throwing away our touch lamp, I read where this sensor can be replaced, and in most cases will fix the lamp. It was easy to install (I would pull off and install one wire at a time to keep them straight), and when it was done, it worked like new.

Didn't Last Long
I've only had this about 3 weeks, and already the case has stopped working. It's my third one and the other two are still working fine, so maybe this is just a bad one. I can pull the H/D out of this case and put it into another, and the HD works fine, so I know the case has gone bad. I wish I could find an external case that I can rely on. This is the 3rd case that has gone bad this month (the other two were from a different manufacturer).
