Fairly effective, but needs improvement.
I have used this tool but not without a degree of frustration. The cord quite often tangles and on one occasion the retaining knot came undone and the cord unwound itself from the entire pulley system. There were no instructions as to how to re-cord it, so I went back to the original photos/illustrations on ebay to try and fathom how to put it back together again correctly. Other times, the blade has jammed. The extension to the handle doesn't lock effectively. The tool wasn't expensive, so I can't complain too much but in some ways, I'd rather pay a bit more and have a tool that works better. Having said that, I have been able to reach branches and prune trees and bushes that would otherwise be unreachable. A good tool but needs a bit more refinement to work more smoothly.

Not a bad watering timer for the money
1 of 1 found this helpful Product OK but made entirely of plastic so tap attachment not that robust. Had to use my own extra washer to get good seal on tap. There's a black ring that holds a white ball in position as part of the mechanism and it keeps falling out as you're trying to connect it all up. I think the timer switched the water on and off OK whilst I was on holiday. Quite easy to set up the timings.
