AcuRite 00799 Digital Outdoor Window Thermometer New

I got this to replace an other acurite thermometer. The numbers on this unit are smaller than I was expecting. The reason I am replacing my older thermometer is that the suction cups fell apart when I pulled the thermometer to change the battery. The reason this did not get 4 stars is that until I try to change the batter and can reuse the suction cup, I will assume it is not possible.

good for the price.
Only just installed it, so I can't comment on longevity. But it fits and it works.

OEM is the way to go
I tried other off brand batteries. One lasted a bit over a year, the other was DOA. When the price on this dropped to less than $30 I could see no reason to buy another brand. The will give me just under 2 hours on my very power hungry 17" i7 laptop. I'm very happy with it.
