As good as it gets
About as good as it gets is, unfortunately, what can be said of cordless phones. They haven't progressed much from the 1970's in terms of basic quality and adding whiz-bang features, like cell phone connectivity, do nothing, really, to enhance them. Panasonic seems to be among the strongest brands, and overall reliability is pretty good.
