About us

I developed my passion for Silver when I was quite young. My Auntie would sit my cousin and I down in her kitchen to polish her silver until it was sparkling and we could see our reflections looking back at us. At the time I thought, I'd rather be outside playing....but she always told us that nice things needed care and love. Imagine all those family gatherings, sharing holidays, celebrations or simply each others company. I always see these pieces as being in their lives and the tables they graced. It's nice to know I am helping someone find or replace those missing pieces and to fill sets that once belonged to their parents and grandparents. I suppose I'm just nostalgic, but I see myself and the work I do as reminiscent of days gone by. I love remembering all those family get togethers with my Aunt saying to us just a little more polishing...."Keep shining until you can see the girl smiling back at you." Thanks for those memories Auntie and for my love of silver today!

    Lovely soup spoons in great condition. Although described as "lightly" polished, they arrived with a mirror shine that put my polishing to shame. I have been using my grandmother's silverplate as everyday flatware for many, many years, and wanted more spoons. Sadly I could not find gumbo spoons to match my pattern, but these are similar. I also bought teaspoons from this seller and both purchases were packaged together with a discount on combined shipping. Much appreciated. :)
