be prepared to work
These albums are shipped FLAT - spread open at the large gap you can see in the photo.
This means the don't EVER close.
I filled the gaps - center, front and back spaces - with cardboard and thin pieces of wood - and then put weights on top over night. I also pushed each album over to one side and then the other, weighting them each time.
took a couple days.

I wanted small & this is perfect. It *is* a jangly little thing - the zipper pulls;-> And it's JanSport - who apparently still build things to last. Imagine.

Heads Up : NOT BLEED PROOF
Fine if you want a fine *marker*, which bleeds directly through most papers.
Just in case you don't:
The "Sharpie Pen" is identified as such in silver on a matte black plastic barrel with "Sharpie" in small raised grey cursive on shiny black cap.
Using reading glasses I was able to read 'FINE' in tiny barely distinguishable black letters on an almost invisible narrow band.
If you looking for and find a listing for a Sharpie Pen and size is not mentioned, check specs - 8mm = fine.
