Not Suited for the Task
13 of 13 found this helpful These are torch tip cleaning rods, which can be gotten much cheaper without to this re-branding. The heavier gauge rods do a fair job for the wider string slots with considerable effort, but the smaller ones are flimsy and unable to maintain sufficient tension to make deep cuts in a nut material. I've seen them sold with a "modified jeweler's saw," so tried them in my jeweler's saw and found that this approach helped very little. I'm unlikely to find any further use for this item.
