Fun! Fun! Fun!
Clank! In! Space! is an excellent improvement on an already excellent game. It's similar enough to Clank! that you need to learn very few new rules, but different enough to set it apart. It's a slightly more heavyweight game, but that's a plus IMO. Most of the changes seem to be tweaks to fix the problems with the original (modular board for replayability, got rid of the backpack to fix the balance issues, hacking cubes to prevent the sprint in/sprint out strategy). I've found that it scales very well to any number of players and it even has a solo mode if you download the Renegade Games app onto your phone or tablet. It also has a TON of sci-fi pop culture references that really improve the flavor of the game. If you're looking for a fun game that will scratch your deck building itch and your dungeon crawling itch, look no further.
