Not hyped enough

Something to consider

Before purchasing this product, I attempted to make a special cable which included a momentary switch that I could press to talk. That produced an undesirable pop noise each time I pressed it. This switch still has a quieter pop when you turn it on, but looks a bit more professional in my studio. Also, due to the need of using an input on my interface to operate a talk back mic, I made a custom XLR cable. The idea was to let channel 2 record a mic and my talk back would come in and out as needed. Since I'm using phantom power, the switch turns off both mics when pressed. Perhaps this wouldn't happen with dynamic mics. I have yet to test. Charged it to the game. Time to record!
