I purchased this to repair an older system that had suffered numerous capacitor failures on the motherboard (different board). For this older system this board was a significant upgrade and it now performs as well as our much newer systems. It has great on-board graphics, supports lots of RAM and the fastest Core 2 Quad processors (I have a Q9550 installed). One of the features I was searching for was a FDD IDE connector on the board. We use a legacy FDD for an older embroidery sewing machine and this board was just what we needed. I couldn't be happier.
