wonderful build quality
Movements smooth and precise, no backlash, high-quality materials. The back rotation is magic- it rotates smoothly and clicks into position with a faint "snick". If you have used a Graflex, the controls will look very familiar. A little on the heavy side, but if you fret about the weight you're using the wrong format.
The last 4x5 field camera I will ever need!

dated but versatile and inexpensive
2 of 2 found this helpful The D90 has an impressive set of features and is now getting cheap because the sensor is "only" 12.6 Mp. It's a great way for a beginner to learn digital, and can be carried around with less apprehension than something that costs a month's salary. If you have any concerns about the image quality, just check the D90 page on Flickr.

Classic, well built, versatile, reliable as a hammer- and these days absurdly cheap, considering the quality. Yes, you have to be a purist to appreciate these- but there's nothing wrong with that!
