great crane
1 of 1 found this helpful this was a very fun kit to build really enjoyed building it and also using it. it has provided several hours of enjoyment.
I would make a suggest that instead of tieing the line for the boom off to a post I would make the drum be two drums instead of one and have the line run back down to the drum this way when you boom up/down the force is being pulled on evenly. Along with this I would also suggest added more line to the boom cable and also to the hoist line along with giving a actual hook for the crane.
