Scotch Removable Tape
I sell books and don't like to use regular tape or anything sticky that might touch the books upon opening so I only use removable tape. Scotch removable tape is perfect for sealing bubble wrap, closing mylar envelopes, and many similar book shipping activities. You may need to use a little more tape to get a good seal but It can be removed and repositioned if you mess up.

Great suggetions.
Will certainly use this in planning our trip to Spain next year. Especially like the idea of tearing out the pages describing the places we will be visiting so we don't have to carry the whole book every day.
