    Item arrived very well packed and exactly as described. Test running was good, and once the wheels were cleaned, it ran even better including at slow speed on code 55 track and switches. Once I clean and lube it, replace the missing air horn and add body mounted knuckle couplers, it will become a valued addition to my fleet of early 1950's Erie diesels! Thank you, I am well pleased! Can be a good runner
This is a nice locomotive. Unfortunately the valve gear/piston& rods are delicate. As I bought in a for parts state, I can’t say exactly how the piston broke. Fortunately as fairly experienced modeler, got replacement parts from bachmann and installed, not an easy task. Now runs well.

Nice & compact
Like the compact design. My understanding is large engines won’t handle the diverging move, haven’t tested that yet.
