Original sci-fi take on the vampire mythos
This movie has become a kind of cult classic. A shuttle discovers a massive space ship in the aura of Halley's comet and three naked humanoids within, one female and two male. They take them back with them which unleashes chaos on 1985 London. These aliens are a kind of vampire that drains the Lifeforce from their victims instead of blood so the victims shrivel up like dried prunes after attack. The victims of the vampires also need to seek out Lifeforce once "infected" so you can see how the chaos ensues.
It was a pretty unique movie with excellent special effects for the time period. The female vampire was played by Mathilda May who was stunningly gorgeous and naked most of her screen time. Most people are awkward and clumsy when naked but Mathilda had a certain pose, grace, and dignity about her which was very alluring and I always wondered how she was able to pull that off while naked. During the extra features I learned she was a ballet dancer before acting and then her naked pose made perfect sense.
The male lead, Colonel Tom Carlsen (Steven Railsback) the commander of the shuttle mission, shares a mental link with the female vampire and uses it to try and track her down so they can stop her but things get progressively worse the longer it takes to find her. It kind of has a living dead, zombie quality to the film once London is in chaos.
It was a blockbuster movie which was pretty excellent at it's time but these days people might look at it as a "B" class movie. I still think it holds up pretty well and recommend it.

Fat Albert Christmas special is classic Fat Albert with a good message
Fat Albert Christmas special delivers a strong but simple message about helping others selflessly and worth watching, especially if you watched Fat Albert growing up. The characters still do all their ridiculousness and bad jokes while delivering their nice message.
