2002 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L V8 LS Flex Fuel. My original was shorting out and blowing the 20A ECM-B fuse (PCM - Powertrain control module). Car would run for about 4sec and then die along with the sending unit (as well as everything else powered by that B+ rail) making it appear that it had no gas. This particular unit looks and feels about the same quality as an OEM unit - cheap. When you have one of these units in your hand, you can easily see they cost about $20.00 to make. So don't be concerned about the price. $290.00 for an AC Delco model is truly the definition of highway robbery. There's not much to them and certainly no reason for them to be pricey. The real cost comes from the labor. Real PITA, but certainly not impossible. $650.00 - $750.00 total cost quote from mechanics. $55.00,, DONE.. AND, I don't have to worry about what some other monkey might have broken, stripped or lost that I'll have the privilege of finding later when I can least afford to.... bonus..
