The title "Complete Book of Fly Tying" says it all.
I've just glanced at a few chapters but it seems to clearly describe what tools, materials and exactly how and why you'd want to tie a fishing fly a certain way to achieve the results you'd want. Excellent step by step illustrations are shown with each fly, as well. And at $9 it was a steal.
BTW, C'mon, no one really says "awesome sauce".

A simple application of physics that is so helpful, especially for a single person.
As long as you have a 2" x 2" hitch receiver, it's a good buy. Far cheaper and less hassle than even a small trailer. Over-engineered and simple, it should last longer than the car!

Very understated.
This is so much more than a coffee table book. Such a beautiful foreign country and so close! I have a love/hate relationship with this book - I love the bios and the accompanying photos so much, I hate it that I can't afford to visit every single one of these fantastic backcountry lodges. And what an interesting and eclectic group of dedicated professionals that run them. It makes me want to drop everything and go there and start one myself, it's that convincing. I have to put it away from myself sometimes, its temptations are that strong.
