    Shipping and packaging were excellent - great care was taken in packing the unit (tape deck is vintage 70s and very heavy). The item was just as described and meets or exceeds expectations / value. Seller is a true professional and did a superb job in restoring this Sony Reel-to-Reel Tape Deck. I am very lucky to now have a working reel tape deck to enjoy just like I did as a youngster back in the '70s. Very happy and highly recommend this seller!

Excellent low cost hi-fi alternative for use in even excellent systems.
For Denon DCD-1500II -- I have a stack of 8 CD decks, most above mid line and a few "top end". Nothing I have touches this in toe-tapping sonic quality or in solid rad-everything functioning. One of the best CD decks I have heard. Highly recommended. I bought this seeking an alternative to the two main units I have been using. The under-rated JVC XL-Z411 is excellent and I use it daily. My Adcom GCD-575 is OK, and sees use in the video system. I was not disappointed. My system is Nakamichi TA-4a driving a pair of "bookshelf" B&W 2-way augmented with a Pioneer powered sub. I've had tons of "hi=fi" systems over the course of over 40 years and am a strong tube amp aficionado. My current system is a downsize as I grow older.

Seems good.
My needs are not stringent. My TEK quit and needed quick replacement at low cost. This scope works fine. My first off-brand scope in 45 years.
