Good bow but ...
This is a basic, no-frils crossbow. There are no string stops, string and limb dampeners, but I am 5'7'' and the bow seems to fit me well. I like the Accu-draw feature, it makes things easy. The bow has practically no recoil and I could put 3 arrows in the bullseye with no problem at 30 yards. However, few fibers separated at the edge of one of the limbs. First, I put some glue and wrapped some strong packing tape and continued to shoot the bow with no problems. I then contacted Tenpoint and their service department issued a ticket and I took it to a service center where they replaced the limbs, but I was charged $50 for labor because I had bought the bow elsewhere. I thought that it was too much. This is why I gave it only 3 stars.

Nice bow for the money, a bit noisy
The 350 XL has features that you typically find in more expensive bows. it has an aluminum barrel as well as a detailed vibration package. These include string, string stop and limb dampers. It is easy to set up. Special attention should be paid to the placement of the cable slide with its offset string groves. The bow sighted easily with the supplied scope. However, the bow is really noisy inspite of its dampening package. It is a good value for the money though.

Birchwood Aluminum Black
THis blackening solution is based on selenic acid and works well on specific aluminum alloys. it will work well mostly on 7000 series alloys like those used for AR recievers as well as low silicon containing alloys. it will not work well on 6000 series alloys or some cast aluminum alloys with high silicon content. some shotgun recievers are 6061 and the solution will not work on these components.
I have used it successfully to repair scratches on AR receivers as well as to touch up areas on my Bow riser and cams. so, be sure that you know what the material that you are trying to blacken is otherwise you will be disappointed.
