Really helped improve my family's diet
2 of 2 found this helpful Food is such a controversial issue, not just in books, but at my family's table. This book gave me good reasons to feed good food and motivation to take some extra time to make it. Excellent research on the topics discussed and good writing style for interest. I liked the fact that he encourages lifestyle changes without obligation and without guilt trips. There is a basic guide to follow, but he also provides more detailed menus and meals if you need more guidance in making some changes.

Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this book on a recommendation from an email list and I love it! It is a powerful personal reflection shared with the world. The seashell comparisons help to reinforce the impressions and provide a reminder in my own mind how these reflections apply to me and my family. It isn't very long and really adds some dimension to life in a superficial society.
