An Outstanding Series! Well worth the time and money spent.
This whole series is one you just can't put down. I would start at the very beginning of Red River Valley and that way you have the whole background of the girls
and their families. I loved the way Snelling has provided such wonderful historical
knowledge, but her characters are outstanding. I grew to love them and it's like they were part of my family. The Bible and religion plays such a key element to these characters lives and made me realize how little we desperately need that back into culture today.

Outstanding Title and over illustration!
I thoroughly enjoyed every one of these books---however, I really, really would
like a book written about Kate. As I remember she was the youngest and always
worked with the horses. I found her character so enjoyable and that fact she handled
the horses better than most of her brothers and she was not at all interested in boys even
though she was absolutely beautiful. Please, please write her story and how she
falls in love.
