So far (about a month into owning this unit) I love it! Float charges excellent! Maintains a steady battery voltage. And it charges very well even if a battery is depleted substantially. Now, it doesn’t charge FAST, but it will get the job done if you have patience! Excellent small unit!

Quadra blade cutters
1 of 1 found this helpful These work well for smaller stump grinders. I have a Vermeer SC-130 and use these. DONT HIT ROCK! If you do, you’ll probably chip the carbide! Also- if you plan on sharpening these, you will need a “green” wheel. A regular aluminum oxide wheel will NOT sharpen these!! Keep an extra set with you if you’re doing a lot of stumps! 😁

Planer review from a rank novice.......
1 of 1 found this helpful Never used a planer in my life before deciding to buy this unit. Came to my house in perfect condition (nothing was broken) and it's well packed. Frankly, I think it would be hard to damage this unit the way it comes wrapped in styrofoam. Anyways, set up was quick and easy- only had to attach a handle to the top of the machine and flip the feed tables down and 2 quick screws for the dust chute and I was planing! So far, I have planed about 20 boards. Since I have no experience planing before, I can't really compare this to anything.......but that being said, it did EXACTLY what I needed it to do. People that complain about the "snipe" must be SUPER picky. Yes, it does have a little bit of snipe when you use it. Easily corrected if you chop off the ends so make sure your boards are a little longer (approximately 2" longer on both ends). If you are just running it as is snipe wise, it's really no big deal. If you wanna get picky, you could just sand out the snipe and frankly no one would notice. Also, my boards I ran were medium hardwood. Not sure what kind exactly but they were blond and smelled woody. haha. Hope that makes sense? Thinking poplar or something. Anyways, they were originally rough cut and this unit took me about 5-6 boards to get a feel for how much to crank down on it. Some of the boards were cupped and were thicker on one end than the other. They started off around 1.25" thick and I took them down to roughly 13/16" to match the floor they were butted up against. I had no problem getting the cup removed from these boards. I don't see what the fuss is all about. This machine handled it with ease. I am by no means a master wood guru but I had absolutely no problems getting the desired thickness and finish. Oh ya, the finish was EXCELLENT! No need to sand whatsoever! The only thing I had to do was take my 5" random and blend the ends in to match an already somewhat uneven floor I was repairing. But there you are, a REAL review from an absolute novice! And no Wen did not pay me......I would definitely buy this all over again. Wish I had bought one years ago! If you think you need a planer, YOU DO! Quit being cheap and GET ONE!!! You won't regret it!
