Who needs a movie sequel to make a good videogame sequel?
1 of 1 found this helpful One of the best hidden NES gems from the late 80's, Goonies 2 is just as much fun to play now as it was back in the day, maybe moreso as this run and re-run Metroidvania classic has just gotten better with age. Play as Mikey, under pressure to save his friends from the Fratelli family that wants revenge for being locked up the first time. Find tools, unlock areas and jam to a rad soundtrack, all while taking out challenging enemies. Be sure to have your notebook or cell phone ready to capture on-screen passwords as this old school retro experience doesn't have battery backed up saves. The Goonies are still good enough.
