Good starter kit
First, I would like to point out that from the picture it looks like the included cable has two N male end connectors. That is not the case. The cable is an SMA male to N male. The outdoor omni antenna has a SMA female connection.
That said, my house is about 1.5 miles away from the nearest cell tower and my 4G/LTE phone was getting around -118dBi (poor) signal strength. I hooked up the kit with everything included with the outdoor omni antenna in the attic and booster unit plugged in on the floor below. Now the phone is getting around -95dBi (very good) signal within 5ft from the booster.
Very impressed with how well this kit amplified the signal. However, the signal is still weak if 20ft or more away from the booster so I'm purchasing a much stronger directional outdoor antenna to see if that improves it. I like that the kit can be upgraded as needed.
