Sample vs Real Thing

I purchased a sample version of this perfume and was very pleased. I only needed a few sprays of the sample version for a long lasting scent. Unfortunately this was not the same for the 1.7oz bottle. It is the same perfume, but I need to apply more perfume for a longer lasting scent.
