Great Trolling Motor and Remote Too
1 of 1 found this helpful Cons: I hate to start with a negative but to me it's the only one. The trolling motor has a fixed mount that has to extend beyond the boat by about 6-8 inches. It would be awesome if the motor could have slid in the mount to deploy it over the bow. As I tried to mount it near the center of the boat, my knuckles hit the mount when I crank the winch.
Pros; This motor really shines with its smoothness of operation. The motor is so quiet I find myself doubting it really working.
The remote came with a lanyard you can wear around your neck as well as a separate clip you can hook to your belt loop. I have only worn it around my neck but I'm going to try the belt clip the next time out as it bothers me a bit having it dangle in front of me.
The motor has a built in battery level indicator that give continuous state of charge and the factory wires are quite long and I was able to reach my front battery location with these supplied wires.
The lock is fantastic and hold the unit very secure in the parked and deployed position. I worried about this for just a little until I tried to overcome it and failed.
All in all I could not be happier with my purchase and would do it again if I ever need another trolling motor.

Direct replacement
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this for a generator that the cheap gas we have ruined. I am so relieved that this carburetor was a direct replacement. Every little linkage and gasket was included making installation a snap.
Drained the gas, filled with fresh 100% gasoline, pulled the choke and started on the second pull.
