Fit my 2004 Cavalier
1 of 1 found this helpful So far I am satisfied with the pump, but be aware this pump does not come with the pressure sensor that is sown in the pictures. This is noted at the very bottom of the product description "the original black pressure sensor on the top of the assembly must be reused at time of installation". I feel either the pressure sensor should be included or it should not be shown in the photos and the notation that the pressure sensor is not included should be much more prominent. I think Global Automotive sells this sensor for around $8. It is just my opinion when going to the trouble of replacing the fuel pump I would prefer to replace the pressure sensor at the same time rather than having to redo 98% of the work to replace the sensor later.
One other comment the fuel float drops down over top the sock filter rather than beside it as shown in the picture and as it was on the original fuel pump. At least initially this appears to have prevented the float from moving and registering the fuel level. I put 10 gallons of gas in the tank and the fuel gauge barely moved. Once I drove the vehicle over a few bumps the fuel gauge started registering correctly.
