Gas valve conversion kit, manual to automatic
1 of 1 found this helpful Just as described, this unit is to convert a manual gas valve to a thermostat wall controlled unit, my father is aging and had the old type where he had to bend over and adjust the temperature via a dial near the floor, at 80 it is difficult for him to do this. The option was to replace the wall heater or the control system. We opted to change out the control system. Complexity is a little technical, if you have no experience , leave it to a professional. You will need additional parts like the 1/2 inch gas line, thermostat wire , teflon, etc. Once again unit works great, just as described. My dad is very happy with the wall thermostat.
