It appears to be a OEM part in the original packaging
It appears to be a OEM part in the original packaging. Since I bought it as a spare I hope it will be a long time before I know.

The item sold was an OEM replacement.

Light, but offers enought protection for me.
It met my exceptions that I had after reading the ratings. I like it because it offers good protection without the bulkiness of some. There is a trade off, but I knew that going in.
