Bearing doesn't fit well, just used the mount.
I bought Monroe struts and after 40,000 miles the passenger side mount rubber separated and made a banging noise over potholes. I replaced it with this unit but upon inspecting the top bearing I found this one to be of cheap plastic and did not fit the strut at all. The Monroe bearing was still good so I reused that and just replaced the top mount itself. Seems you get what you pay for - cheaper strut mount = cheaper quality.

Excellent replacement
2 of 2 found this helpful Just what you need to tackle the infamous 3800 series 2 intake manifolds. Very sturdy construction and I was very shocked to see how thick the gasket material was. Installation was extremely easy with the locating tabs and it is still holding up 3 months after use so far. Solved my coolant consumption problem and the CEL light for my P0420 catalyst actually went away. I must have been burning some coolant!!!
