Great for Beginners
Not as powerful as the Trio+, and does not have a built-in looper, but at a fraction of the Trio+ cost, this pedal is pure gold for beginners. I have several drum machine pedals and loopers, and the key issue with using them is that you have to match the beat of the drum machine. With Trio it is the other way around - you play, the pedal matches the beat to your playing, thus creating a wide range of rhythmic patters to play to. Put a looper downstream, and jam away. I've successfully used all the pedal's functionality with one exception. Bass/Drums volume controls are very useful, as the rhythm patters you get often overdo it on the bass volume. Alt times is great - I've had situations where double time was the best beat, and situations where I wanted a half-time. Tempo adjustment is also fun to play with. The only thing I don't care too much about is the built-in guitar effects - but that is primarily because I have like 20 other pedals in front of Trio to customize the tone. In a more constrained setting (just this pedal and an amp, for example), this may very well wind up being the most useful feature on the pedal.

Works.
I have a guitar amp that is rated 230V, and I needed a low-wattage transformer. This one works well. I wish it had a 230V setting in addition to 200, 220 and 240 volts, but it works well on 220V setting. I like the form factor.
