A Fictional but Fun adventure in science
A wrinkle in Time was one of my favorite books as a child. As a parent, I bought the book to share with my own children who are at reading age now. We've begun reading it together which makes for a fun and fictional new world to explore with them! The book is written in such a way that any child with an imagination would find fun and drama in it. Although I do stress it is purely fictional, the possibilites of the science side of it will bring loads of questions from your children as it does mine, which in turn opens up an eagerness to learn more about science, astronomy and it's studies! All in all, it's been a great and fun adventure for each of us!

Canon AE-1 35mm Film Camera "Old School"
3 of 3 found this helpful My brother loved photography when I was a kid and the Canon AE-1 was the camera he loved most. That was my introduction to some of the best photos I can remember. If you don't mind "Old School", this camera will give you the best photos you could possibly imagine. They're clear, sharp and precise. It takes a bit of self-training to use the settings properly, but once you have that down pat, there's no problem with it. One of my favorite things about this camera is the fact that YOU can use the settings anyway you like, it doesn't correct you! I have full control of what I want it to do! And, like the digitals, once you get the film developed, you can request they be DL to a photo c.d., then put them on your computer or laptop if you like. So, if you're feeling inventive, grab an AE-1, get ourdoors and play with your photos...I know you'll be pleasantly surprised!
