Lightweight with great features.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS70
3 of 3 found this helpful I've been taking film pictures since about 1970. People told me how much they love their digital cameras, but I've resisted for years. I could not justify spending $300 on a camera. Finally, I was in a store near me, and this camera (same model number, as here) was on sale for $100. I gritted my teeth, put a crowbar in my wallet, and bought it. So far, I've only used a couple of the features. Pictures, close ups, and silent movies. Of course, the review screen to see what I just took. I've had plenty of prints made. Many for me, and many to give away. I find the camera easy to use. It takes better pictures than I got with film. I can take a LOT of pictures, and develop the ones that came out. It takes AA cells, and I use NiMH rechargable, which works out cheaper. The memory cards, I can get in the store, or online. In case I want to take a super lot of pictures. The camera is small enough to fit in my pants pocket, where it is every day. From ducks crossing the road, to pictures of equipment I'm repairing at work, to church socials. I take lots of pictures. Far more than I ever would, with film. Some are worth saving, some I delete. Some, I email to people through the computer. The one I just bought on Ebay is actually the spare, for when this one wears out or gets broken. I'm not even going to shop around to try and find a better one cheaper, this one suits me just fine.

Disappointing.
About as bright as the old penlights with a prefocuss #222 bulb. Not any big deal.
