Full of tempting, easy to follow recipes.
Exactly what the title says - this is a commonsense guide - even my un-domesticated boyfriend has tackled some of the recipes unaided with delicious results. He even made Hollandaise Sauce ON HIS OWN following the instructions and surprised me with a lovely meal.

Slow Read
The author clearly knows and loves the area but for me it was a slow read and not that well written. I am full time in a van and was looking forward to this book but lost interest lost half way through when it got very repetitive.
