Disappointment
2 of 5 found this helpful I cannot answer the questions above because I got it as a Christmas gift and have not used it. However, what I had asked for was a machine that I thought could be charged because it had a USB outlet. I bought a new car and it does not have an AC outlet so I can use it with the enclosed cord. So I had to get an adapter that had an AC outlet with an end on it that I could use in the - what I describe as the cigarette lighter plug. I was disappointed that the machine could not be charged and not use the batteries. I travel and want to play my CDs and my audio books. But because this machine cannot be charge as I thought it could, I had to buy additional technology. I think it should be very clear in the description that it cannot be charged. I have yet to play the machine in my car.
