3 of 3 found this helpful I have two that I bought previously for myself and this one is for my son. They are very clear and because they are 1X you can keep both eyes open and be able to see more of the surroundings. The reticles can be lit in red or green with five degrees of brightness. The reticles [rings and dot] are etched onto the lens which is nice because if the battery goes dead you still have them in black for aiming. The reason I gave it four stars is because the lens covers fit loose and come off rather easy. Other than that I highly recommend these for any self defense [AR] type of rifle or pistol.
