Good, but not for Heavy Duty use
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought these to use on a motorcycle trip that would put close to 1,200 miles on the bike. Going to my destination, we rode through wind and rain and the clips held up fine. On the return trip, one of the clips just fell completely apart and the elastic stitching that hold the clip started to separate. The clip was easy enough to fix. Just put it back together and bent the little "ears" back to hold it all together (You would have to see the clip in person to understand how it works). In the end, these clips survived the trip and I will just have to restitch the one end that came loose and was holding on by a thread (literally!). Once the clips were locked into the hem of your jeans, they held strong.
Aside from the small hiccups, the clips worked as intended and for the price, and they can't be beat. To get an actual motorcycle set of these would ramp the price by triple. Had they been a little "beefier" on the construction side, they would have gotten a higher rating. However, I also understand that what I used them for was not exactly in line with what they were actually designed for.
