Very good knife with major flaws.
1 of 1 found this helpful Love the laser etching on the blade. Carbon fiber Handle is very comfortable. Steel liner can be skeleton out to reduce a little bit of weight. But for the price you can't expect too much. There are two major issues I have with this knife.
1. The liner lock edge where you have to press to unlock is smoothed out to a tapered shape, there is no grip to push the liner lock at all. Especially I am left handed, I can't move the liner to unlock the knife without using my second hand. I prefer knife that I can open and close with one hand. 2. When closed, the tip of the blade stick out a little too close to the edge of the liner groove. When I run my finger over the groove, my finger will catch the tip. Since I don't use clip, the knife sits in my pocket, when I went to retrieve the knife, my finger catch the tip, disengaged blade from lock position and cut into my finger. Not so safe. Clip is tip down right handed, I don't use clip so it does not bother me. Knife is slightly heavier than i like but not a big issue. The thumb gimping is good, but no gimping on index finger side, so careful when trying to stab with the knife.

disappointed
0 of 7 found this helpful The quality control is not very good. The liner lock is hardly engaging. I am not a big fan of spring assist. I have other knifes that does not use spring assist and still opens like they have springs. Tip is what really threw me off. Hard to explain this. As you can see on the photo, there is a little belly on the blade side, it curved out slightly in the middle. With that i expected that the tip will curved up a little. But what I saw is that tip curved down like a hooked nose, Ugly!

Solid knife with perk
I like most thing about this knife. Blade is solid and thin, able to get to most places, easy to use. Grip is matel, a little slippery but not an issue for me. The deal breaker is the mechanic for closing. I can't easily close the blade with one hand. I have to grip entire handle press hard on the spine and hit the spine of the blade against something to move it out of lock position then move my fingers away to close it completely. A bit of annoyance, but might not be a problem for most folks.
