Better than the stock grips
While the stock grips sure are handsome with the maple burl inserts, they position your middle finger knuckle directly behind the trigger guard. So, when you pull the trigger you get a painful bang on the knuckle when the recoil slams the guard against it.
Not the case with the Hogues as they are designed to position the knuckle below the guard and with a portion of the rubber protecting the knuckle. Makes shooting the SP101 enjoyable instead of painful.
