Unit never worked with Time warner cable

Originally the instructions read it that will not work with comcast but not time warner cable, that's why I ordered, I called TWC for support and they told me that the unit was already registered with them and can not activate the unit.. So can you please you refund my money, I'm sending back the unit today 10/08/16... Thank you!
