You get what you pay for.
This is a toy. The description clearly states that it is plastic, not glass, but doesn't say that the black surround is a piece of rubber which can come off, and the cord is an inexpensive elastic string. Might be okay for a Halloween costume, but not for LARP. Cheap product, cheap quality.
