Great Nikon Camera
2 of 2 found this helpful I have owned several Nikon film cameras and still own a Nikon D90 and D100. The new D5300 is a great improvement. The rotatable back panel display is 3.2 in, much larger than my prior cameras and as large as the new Nikon D5 ($6497). The camera has very low read noise, which makes it great for astrophotography. The camera allows HDR photography and has an intervalometer that can be used for time lapse.
