Disappointed
I guess I expected more and so wound up disappointed. Not that it's not a solid, functioning watch with a Ronda 5040, Swiss Made. I can recommend it, but for me it just turned out wrong, a bit on the boring side. Not ALL Invictas are great, though this is still better than most in all honesty. Invicta has also made some real dogs over the years. I've discovered that in general I'm not a really big fan of MOP dials.

I love it
I love all Legatos of a certain style, this being one of them. These in white aren't that easy to come by. I jumped on it as I collect Legatos. I had another white one in pieces, so had some parts for this one, which is now at Swiss Legend's shop, I hope to undergo repair. I've not heard from SL, so a bit worried. They're normally pretty good about communicating.
Anyway, I think a very, very stylish watch with a particularly nice-looking case with lined lugs. It's got an ETA G10 chrono, including 1/10th second counter.
Beware of these however, and don't make the mistake of buying the wrong ones, which are overloaded with too many Roman Numerals or just badly chosen color combos. Swiss Legend gets carried away all the time with color combos. The one you want has the stick markers with that SL logo at 12:00, and that's ALL. Look out! Never know about SL. One minute the watch has an ETA G10, next minute some cheap multifunction job in the exact same model. They did that with Scubador in particular.

Outstanding
1 of 1 found this helpful I indicated that THIS watch is not a good value because I think the price here a bit steep. Nonetheless, in general the watch is a very good value at most listed prices. Sorry, just think the price here is slightly too high.
I wish it were worth this price since I own the same watch. In fact, I just rediscovered it. When I first bought it, I wasn't that thrilled, thinking it a bit plain in appearance. But looking through my collection this week--some in boxes stored away, I re-found this one and wondered why I had it in a box stored away, as it looked and felt so great. I laid it down last night and awoke to find the tritium tubes still glowing! That was after many hours, which makes this a true diver's watch. That was very impressive.
I got to looking closer at it and thinking that's one very cool-looking bezel too. The bezel is unidirectional by the way; indeed, it does rotate crisply. I love the rivet effect, AND the fact the dial sits quite deep beneath the crystal. There's a lot of steel and I really like that! I like weight, to feel it on my wrist. I like substantial and this baby is one very substantial watch, exceptionally solidly built. There's no looseness here, just solid from crystal to clasp.
Most impressive, however, is the Seiko NH-35, 24-jewel automatic movement. I've not tested for power, but know it to be reasonably long-lasting after winding 30-35 times from a dead stop. And it hacks as well, albeit depending on your definition of "hack." The second hand stops when you need to set time.
The watch is a bit lighter than pictured here--in terms of color, I mean. Overall, there's a very lightly brushed finish to the stainless steel, while the dial itself takes on slightly different tones of gray as the ambient light changes. The hands are high-polish finish, with tritium fill same as that in the tubes at each hour marker. Topping off the watch is a raised date window magnifier, which i much appreciate given my failing eye sight.
Henceforth, I'm going to sell it here OR get to wearing it a lot more often, as well as putting it in one of my windowed display cases.
