Dell laptop modularity on E1705

Replacing the DVDRW was simple as usual for an older Dell laptop. Reason I buy an older model; drives can change out with a single tiny bolt, no panel poppers. So getting it upgraded or repaired is easy. Off lease models like this have cheap batteries and chargers too. Bright screen for it's age,real good angularity too. These older Dell laptops give a good value, 17 inch screen for less than $150.

Mac Airport Extreme

Works fine on my G4 laptops, one has Tiger 10.4.11 and doesn't recognize ANY WiFi except this one. Also recognized real fast on my Snow Leopard 10.5.8. Hit the reset button first to get rid of the previous owners password was the only hurdle. Seamless after that. Don't confuse this for the one with the hard drive though even though they look almost exactly the same. USB port will add a printer but not a hard drive.
