Instructions could be clearer
6 of 6 found this helpful Excellent product but not clear what happens to withheld calls which are used by doctors & hospitals & are obviously very important to many people. Answer is that withheld is treated the same as any numbers which are not on your allowed list. The caller has to say who they are & then you can answer them. A withheld call cannot be saved for next time as the actual number used could be different. If the caller has given their name but you are absent & miss the call it should go to the answer machine. For an expected vital call from a doctor etc probably best to switch off the blocker temporarily. Otherwise very efficient at stopping unwanted calls. The phone doesn't even ring if a name is not given & the blocked call appears on your calls list later to be deleted or saved as required.

Maypole 7423 Battery Charger

Car only used once a week for shopping & I keep charger connected in between trips.
5 year old battery always fully charged with no problems.
Extra items like fuses in supply leads a good safety feature & permanent connection leads as well as usual crocodile clips very useful for quick connection.
The bright display of charging status with voltage shown also very good.
Two items would make the Maypole even better.
Provide screw attachment holes for fixing to the garage wall.
Instructions should be improved both the content & printing which should be on durable glossy paper to match the quality of the product - not on plain A4 paper.
The content seems to emphasise the dangers of using a battery charger rather than a
simple step by step instruction of how to use it. The summary of operation on the back page needs to be read very carefully to fully understand.
I found the actual maintenance voltage higher than stated but I believe this is acceptable.
Would still recommend Maypole as a 5 star product but overall ,have to remove one star because of the instructions.
