Fine except for the poor scroll ring
The overall design is good but it is negated by the poor quality of the scroll ring. The scroll ring doesn't move smoothly and it catches/hangs badly in several places. It's uncomfortable and annoying to use. Looking on the web I found this is a common complaint. It's either poorly designed or poor quality control. It's unfortunate as otherwise the trackball is nice.

Nice card, poor software
Card itself and drivers are easy to install and work well. However I found the Hauppauge PVR software frustrating, clumsy and unintuitive. Finally I found the freeware SichboPVR software which found more channels, has a simpler, easier to use interface, and works just fine. Given the relatively high price of the card the poor software detracts from the value.
