Good product for the money
This tool assembles relatively easy. Setting up for use it is more accurate to use a triangle or right angle tool to set the fence. Using the miter gauge from my table saw improves the ease of feeding larger boards.

Well designed, quality tool
In the past I have used the cheaper spring compressors (pair of screw and hooks for either side) - they can slip creating a danger. Have also used the wall mount very expensive units - work excellent if the cost can be justified. Decades ago I've even used a compressed air cylinder tool that worked great but could not find a unit for sale.
This compressor screw and spring forks tool grips the spring securely and collapses the spring easily allowing the strut to be removed, is a good value.
